Project, Houston, Texas QA/QC Inspection Coordinator for
Intec Engineering Scope of Work Responsible to implement the deepwater quality
control inspection program, overseeing the procurement of 26”, 28” & 30”
API 6A subsea ball valves and Dantorque gear-operated actuators, production
of ~(80) long-lead forgings, including WYE blocks, j-lay collars and buckle
arrestors, oversee fabrication of SLEDS, PLETS and jumpers, and handle
extensive on-site problem resolution for the Site Integration Team (SIT).
Worked with flex-joint manufacturing, riser production & installation,
pipe coating processes, SCR pull-in jacks, ROV tooling, reducers, pipeline
repair tooling, induction bending, anodes, and strakes. Wire Rope,
Experienced in locating and hiring qualified inspection personnel (including
NDE), providing direction to them, and overseeing their work and reporting.

Work in machine in the evening when needed just part time, along with working
for Kvaerner, Duties included all aspects of Quality Assurance and
Quality Control a, customer and third party inspection coordination and
coordination of manufacturing and customer activities. I was a partner in
this Business. Machining API 6A equipment, non- monogram, Sub-Sea Riser Box
& Pin connector and kill & choke Receptacle. 1993 –
1999
Kvaerner National, Houston, Texas QA/QC Manager for Shop Duties included implementation of the Quality
Control Program, line inspections, receiving and final inspections, gauge
calibration, oversight of NDE department including UT, MT, PT and RT
inspections, maintenance of all welding procedures and welder certification. Area Manager Duties include all of the above plus the addition of
oversight of Warehouse and Assembly Floors. Assembly duties included
oversight of assembly and testing of wellhead equipment for both surface and
subsea products. Warehouse duties included oversight of all warehouse
functions, shipping and receiving, inventory control, work order completion,
progress and status reporting, customer and third party inspection
coordination, maintenance of QC functions in regard to all API and ISO
Licenses and coordinating with Project Managers to meet customer, company and
due date requirements. National Oilwell moved New Iberia plant to Post Oak
location
And was sold to Kvaerner. API License, 6A, 14D, 17D, and 8C all license moved
to that location and API did audit and No findings issued. In the 25 plus
years work on API parts and going thru API audits every year, I only had one
finding that was in 1974 when I first got our API licenses during Fist Audit,
None after that Made API PSL level 1,2,3,4, equipment. 1974 – 1993National Oilwell, New Iberia, Louisiana QA & QC Manager Duties included control of all QA/QC Functions,
planning and implementation of QA/QC Functions for API License 6A, 14D, 17D,
8C, development of QA Manual and Procedures Manual, maintenance of all QA/QC

third party inspections and coordinating manufacturing and customer
