The fabrication and FAT and SIT testing and Data Book, Oversee the Fabrication of Piles at Inter-Moor, a total 6 Piles,

                                        Issue inspection assignments, Review Inspectors CV, working with Engineers, ExxonMobil, Vendors and Sub-Vendors.  Attend PPM meeting and Design review meeting with all my project Engineers.  Approval of  all vendors  ITP’s and Quality Plans, Interfacing with Vendors project manager on a daily basis Visiting site, US and Overseas, Working hands on with both vendor inspectors and ours, to make sure all requirements are met, both ExxonMobil global procedure specifications and Code requirements.  Equipment Built was PLET, Manifold, Mud mats, Jumpers, FMC UTA, Aker Control Systems, Aker Umbilical’s, EFL and Technip Flow lines; oversee All SIT and FAT testing and System Integration with the FMC trees and IWOCS System.

 

                                       MWCS Project: Procurement Quality Coordinator, ExxonMobil have me take over this project in November, 2011, after project was handed over to the Gulf of Mexico project team, this was done in order to get Vendor and Sub- vendors back on track to meet delivery dates and to meet Quality requirements.

Operations Manager/Quality Assurance Manager,

Startup of new-location Fabrication Shop, drilling-rig facility at the Port of Iberia, employing (140) personnel. Responsibilities include management daily operation of the Plant, Includes Welding Operations, Shipping and Receiving, Inspection and NDE departments. Duties include releasing of work orders to facility and coordination of shop workload, interface with my foreman’s with customers, there Engineers and their third-party inspectors. Initiated a Q1 Quality System for API 4F Monogram License, and maintain that Q1 Quality Systems. Implemented a welding procedures qualifications and a welder qualification record program, and a gauge calibration procedure and program. Responsible to maintain material inventory, and ordering of equipment and supplies, ensuring continuous facility operations.

Responsible for NDE department, including UT, MT, PT, and RT inspections, maintenance of welding procedures, and control of welders’ certifications.

                                      Company Moved me to New Iberia to start a fabrication shop and complete fabrication of 3 land drilling rigs, that Houston shop was behind on, we completed 3 rigs in 6 months along with Two Manifold for Hess and a Chemical injection tank system and New and Refurbished of risers for National-Oilwell Varco.

QA/QC Inspection Coordinator for Intec Engineering Scope of Work

Responsible to implement the deepwater quality control inspection program, overseeing the procurement of 26”, 28” & 30” API 6A subsea ball valves and Dantorque gear-operated actuators, production of ~(80) long-lead forgings, including WYE blocks, j-lay collars and buckle arrestors, oversee fabrication of SLEDS, PLETS and jumpers, and handle extensive on-site problem resolution for the Site Integration Team (SIT). Worked with flex-joint manufacturing, riser production & installation, pipe coating processes, SCR pull-in jacks, ROV tooling, reducers, pipeline repair tooling, induction bending, anodes, and strakes. Wire Rope, Experienced in locating and hiring qualified inspection personnel (including NDE), providing direction to them, and overseeing their work and reporting. Approval of all ITP’s and Quality Plans.  Inspection requirements for all of Intec-Engineering scope of work on this project. Everything except top side’s fabrication, Mainly the Rigs.

Equipment Manufactured included, Subsea pipeline equipment and Structures, Tubular Connector Systems etc. Merlin connector for Risers, Standard Connectors and Special Application Connectors. And Winches systems.   BP Hired me away from Oilstates.

Duties included all aspects of Quality Assurance and Quality Control a, customer and third party inspection coordination and coordination of manufacturing and customer activities. I was a partner in this Business. Machining API 6A equipment, non- monogram, Sub-Sea Riser Box & Pin connector and kill & choke Receptacle.

QA/QC Manager for Shop

Duties included implementation of the Quality Control Program, line inspections, receiving and final inspections, gauge calibration, oversight of NDE department including UT, MT, PT and RT inspections, maintenance of all welding procedures and welder certification.

Area Manager

Duties include all of the above plus the addition of oversight of Warehouse and Assembly Floors. Assembly duties included oversight of assembly and testing of wellhead equipment for both surface and subsea products. Warehouse duties included oversight of all warehouse functions, shipping and receiving, inventory control, work order completion, progress and status reporting, customer and third party inspection coordination, maintenance of QC functions in regard to all API and ISO Licenses and coordinating with Project Managers to meet customer, company and due date requirements. National Oilwell moved New Iberia plant to Post Oak location

                                        And was sold to Kvaerner. API License, 6A, 14D, 17D, and 8C all license moved to that location and API did audit and No findings issued. In the 25 plus years work on API parts and going thru API audits every year, I only had one finding that was in 1974 when I first got our API licenses during Fist Audit, None after that Made API PSL level  1,2,3,4, equipment.

Duties included control of all QA/QC Functions, planning and implementation of QA/QC Functions for API License 6A, 14D, 17D, 8C, development of QA Manual and Procedures Manual, maintenance of all QA/QC Functions in accordance with all licenses, coordination of all in-house and third party inspections and coordinating manufacturing and customer activities, Customer base was, Exxon, Mobil, Shell, Conoco, Amerada Hess, Phipps Manufactures of Sub-Sea equipment. Subsea controls system, National-Oilwell Risers, National Oilwell Drilling Equipment, Draw-works, and Power Swivels. Mud-Pumps and Triplex Pumps.

                                       Moved plant to Houston in 1993.

 

1974 – 1977Parr Industries National Supply, New Iberia, Louisiana

Duties included control of Daily Operations of Machine Shop/ Front Land Rig fabrication shop  including OSP machine services, managing work load in order to meet due dates, completing project status reports, supervising Machinists, Fitters and Welders, controlling lead times, coordination of all in-house and third party inspections and coordinating manufacturing and customer activities.
